There are so many words I want to say about this session! I LOVE this family and have been photographing them for years now. But more than that, I’ve become such good friends with them and they have been there to celebrate so much with me as well. Reese’s newborn session was such a fun time! Not only did I get to take her photos with her family, but I had Lindsey Ferrie Photography come and take behind the scenes photos of ME in my element.

Family and Sibling Shots
This photo stopped me in my tracks when I was editing. There is something extra magical about photographing your friend with her newborn. With watching her grow in her confidence and she raises her little ones. In being there when she has questions or funny stories about her day-to-day life. There is nothing about doing this job and taking newborn photos that I don’t love – but there are a LOT of things that I absolutely know are miracles. This is one of those moments.
Posed Newborn Photos
My favorite moments during a newborn session are when it’s just me and baby doing our thing. When I have them in the warmth of the studio, on my beanbag, and I am solely focused on them. Paying attention to their every move, breathe and feelings. It’s in these moments that true magic happens!
